TWD is heading down to FL for the last time this year. We're leaving the cold weather up here in Boone, and heading down south to some warm sunshine, manatees, seafood, tiki bar, and some all around great diving!

It's a great place for new and experienced divers alike. Even non divers who want to tag along can enjoy some really great snorkeling at all of our dives sites, and we will all get the opportunity to snorkel with some manatees.
We will leave Boone Friday Dec 14th and drive to Kingsland, Ga, spend the night and in the morning we will drive to Rainbow River to do our first dive of the weekend. Rainbow river is a beautiful shallow drift dive with lots of life to interact with. After we finish our dives we will head on over to Crystal River, FL and check into our hotel for the rest of the weekend. There is a hot tub, pool, tiki bar, and great seafood restaurant all on site! Sunday morning we will dive either at Blue Grotto or Devils Den. In the afternoon we will try and rent a couple of pontoon boats and go in search of manatees that we can snorkel with. They reside in Kings Bay which is the water front right where our hotel sits. On Monday morning the 17th we will check out of our hotel, and head up to Manatee Springs State park and do our last two dives of the weekend. These are two of my favorite dives of the trip, and you really don't want to miss them. After we finish up the dives, we will head back on up to Boone.
The cost of the trip includes hotels (dbl occupancy), boat fees, park fees, tanks, and weights.
$350 for certified divers.
$50 max gear rental fee.
$495 for checkout students. (includes all gear and instructor fees)
$350 for snorkelers (includes gear)
We only have 7 more spots for checkout students available, but plenty of room for certified divers and snorkelers.
