TWD's next Open Water Scuba class is Fri Jan 26th - Sun Jan 28th. We will meet at the dive shop on the 26th from 6-9pm. Saturday and Sunday 10am-5pm in the pool with a break for lunch. We are hoping to be able to use the Lee's-McRae pool, if it has been repaired. The cost for the class is $350 this includes all of the online curriculum, pool fees, gear rental, and instructor fees. If you are in need of a refresher the cost is $95, and you will join us in the pool on Sunday.

Florida Springs Trip Feb 8th-11th.
We will leave Boone around noon and drive down to Kingsland, GA which is three miles from the Florida state line. We will spend the night there, and in the morning travel to Rainbow River for our first day of diving. After our dives in the river we will all head to Crystal River, Fl and check into the dive resort. This is a fun place to spend the weekend. There is a pool, hot tub, tiki bar, live music, and a great seafood restaurant all on the property. Saturday morning we will caravan up to Paradise Springs, and do a spectacular dive in a cavern that has fossilized star fish and whale bones in the walls of the cavern. Once we finish the dive there we will go back to the hotel, and you will have the choice of swimming with manatees, or going out on Kings Bay and doing another great dive. On Sunday we will check out of our hotel and head up to a newer dive location, Troy Springs State park in Branford, Fl. After our two dives we will load up and journey all the way back to Boone. This is a great trip for dive students and certified divers alike.
Trip Costs:
Checkout Students $495 This includes: 3 nights accommodations (dbl occupancy), breakfast each morning, diving expenses, tank rentals all gear needed, instructor fees, boat rentals, park entry fees etc.
Certified divers with dive gear $365
Certified divers without dive gear $415 max depending on gear needed.
