Two Worlds Divers is already planning to escape the cold weather and are heading to the Florida Springs. This trip will take place on Thursday, December 2 thru Sunday December 5. Our plan is to work all day on the 2nd and then drive to Florida that evening. We will arrive and check into our accommodations near the Florida line. After sleeping in Friday morning, we will grab a bite to eat and head for our first dive site at Rainbow River. We will board the pontoon boat at 1:00 pm and head upstream. We will then drift back down with the current, play in the Springs and do a few skills with our check-out students.
0n Saturday we plan to dive Kings Bay in Crystal River and snorkel with the manatees. We will board our pontoon boats around 8:00 AM and dive 2 tanks throughout the day and snorkel with the manatees as much as possible. There will be a lunch break around 12-1 so we can get out of the sun, enjoy each others company with great food right at the dock.
On Sunday the 5th we check out of the hotel and head north to Chief land Fl. and do 2 quick fun dives in Manatee Springs. After our last dive we will pack the cars and head back to Boone. This is going to be an inexpensive, bang for the buck long weekend, and we hope you can join us.
Now for the trip costs:
For checkout students the cost is a grand total of $395. This includes 3 nights dble. Occ. Accommodations,diving expenses, tank rentals, all gear needed, instructor fees, boat rentals, park entry fees,etc...Additional costs will be your travel down and back (carpools can be arranged) and food. You can make it as expensive or cheap as you want.
For certified divers with personal gear the cost is only $295.
For certified divers without personal gear the cost will be $295 plus a max of $45 gear rental for a total of $340.
